2. Who is your favorite college athlete?
I don't really have one!!

3. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
A giraffe! They are so tall and slender!! LOL! Besides they run in the wild in Africa, so that has to be somewhat fun! You never really hear about those being hunted!! At least I don't think so...

4. What are your favorite 2 for 20 tees?
Well that is easy!! The flashy glitter arch tee!! LOL! I would be lying of I told you I could remember them all!! So I chose this one bc it is a crowd favorite no matter the school, flashy, but still simple. You can dress it up or dress it down!!

5. Favorite college rivalry?
Well, before college definitely TN vs FL. Then in college, definitely UofL vs KY, and now that I am with Alumni Hall, whoever is going to make us the most $!!

HAHAH!! Well...I am a sucker for the camera!! Don't ever let me see yours...lol!! So yes, pics before. Depending on the event I will most likely have a glass of wine, but if I need energy maybe a mixed drink. Then...lastly I pray, pray, pray that I don't get sleepy while I am there!! LOL! I am getting old! Partying is not the same for me anymore!!

Yes! There's this place called Charleys!! I just discovered it!! They have chicken philly with cheese and seasoned fries!! Thebomb.com!!

9. Do you have a favorite college tradition?
Every year my best friends, sorority sisters, and old college buddies meet back for the KY Derby! It takes me until that time next year to re-cooperate and get ready for it again!

10. What is your favorite memory while working at Alumni Hall?
Def Jeff and Amy's remarks at Christmas dinner. I love my job and work extra hard to make sure we are at our best! It's at this time that I know it was all worth while!! Corny...scratch that!! It was when Jeff fell over a big J America box in our lobby, and rolled into the Christmas tree!!! LOLOL!!!

Looking Back at Past Alumni Hall Events

There have been a few great events that have happened at our Tennessee stores! First, on November 12th, Coach Bruce Pearl of the Tennessee Volunteers men's basketball team signed autographs at Alumni Hall in West Town Mall. In conjunction with his appearance, a portion of all sales from our West Town and Turkey Creek stores went to the United Way of Greater Knoxville. Thank you to our customers and Coach Pearl for the support and for making this event a huge success!

The legendary appearances didn't stop with Coach Pearl! On December 4th, Coach Pat Summitt of the Tennessee Volunteers women's basketball team made an appearance at our West Town store to sign her new book, Summitt and greet her fans. A portion of the sales from Summitt will be donated to the United Way of Greater Knoxville. We would again like to thank our customers and Coach Summitt for making this event a big success.

Employee Parking Only: Ben Willis

STATS
:

- Name: Ben Willis

- Store Location:
Mall St. Matthews

- Position: Store Manager

- Birthday: 11-06-1985

-Hometown: Pocataligo, Georgia

-Alma Mater: University of Georgia

1. What is your favorite sport?
Far and away, College Football is my favorite sport to watch.

2. Who is your favorite college athlete? Elizabeth Lambert of University of New Mexico. She really took women's soccer and put it in the spotlight in her game vs. BYU this season. To see Elizabeth Lambert in action, check out the video below!

3. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? A jellyfish, because I would hate to be eaten and as far as I know, not many animals eat jellyfish

4. What are your favorite 2 for 20 tees? Since I moved here to Louisville, I have seen the huge rivalry between UL and the University of Kentucky. With this in mind, I love wearing the "So I made wildcats/cardinals... shirts" just because it gets a response from almost all the customers in the store.

5. Favorite college rivalry? My favorite college rivalry is UGA vs. UF. Even though we have been going through a slump in football lately, just the word Florida gets Georgia fans riled up and ready to go. It doesn’t matter what sport it is, I will always be excited to watch Georgia beat Florida.

6. Any t.v. shows you can't live without? It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a great show. If I had to pick a secondary career, it would be running a bar with some friends as long as it turns out like the show.

7. If you could have dinner with 3 people from college sports (ex. coaches, athletes, mascots) who would you choose and why? Larry Munson (UGA announcer from 1966-2007) because he has seen almost all the great moments of UGA football from the press box, Taylor Wyndham (UK RS freshman DE) because he was the guy who took out Tebow this year in the UK game, and Bo Jackson (AUB RB, 82-85) because I would hope that he made "Bo Knows" jokes all dinner long.

8. Do you have any pre-shift rituals? Not really, when I open I always drink coffee and watch Mike and Mike on ESPN2, but that’s about it.

9. What's your favorite meal to eat from the food court? The Mall St. Matthews has a Mexican restaurant called El Napol. It’s really good and the prices are awesome too.

10. Do you have a favorite college tradition? Everyone knows that the Arch is a symbol of the University of Georgia, but most people don’t know that you aren't supposed to walk through them unless you have graduated from there. If you do, you will either never graduate or go sterile.

11. What is your favorite memory while working at Alumni Hall? My favorite memory while working at AH was the week long experience of helping open the Crabtree store. I was given the opportunity to travel to Raleigh to help open the store. Through the process, I met some awesome people and had a great feeling of accomplishment in seeing the store come together and really take off.
